UN Expert Presses Eritrea to Live Up To Its Int'l Human Rights Commitments

EVA (21 June 2019) ? 3 days before the UN Human Rights Council begins its 41st Session, the newly appointed Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights in Eritrea, Daniela Kravetz, issued a statement today vowing to take Eritrea ruler, Isias Afarki, to task at HRC41 for, inter alia, blatant violation of freedom of religion rights and not allowing religious institutions to operate freely.
