UNSC President: Nobody can do anything about sanctions on Eritrea tyrant
03 February 2016
" with regard to Eritrea I can't put forward any national position on this. There are sanctions imposed and nobody can do anything about it" Current UN Security council president Venezuelan Ambassador Rafael Dario Ramirez told journalists on Monday in a press conference at the UN.
Ambassador Ramirez was responding to the following question posed by none other than Eritrea tyrant's media man at the UN, Mathew Russel Lee of 'Inner City Press':
Question: On Eritrea – you’re the chair of that committee. They (Eritrea tyrant) say they should not be under sanctions because they’re not doing what they’re accused of doing. Now, in your national capacity, or as chair, what do you think of their argument?
